DESCRIPTION:Anyone can be a Virtual Runner or Walker! By joining us as a participant\, you can run or walk from any location you choose. Run\, jog\, walk around your neighborhood\, on a trail\, treadmill\, or at the gym\, all competing to exercise and donate to provide education and outreach to patients and the public about clinical research! Exercise anywhere you want\, then log the activity and see your team move on our map and leaderboards. Print or post your digital bib! Catch a Google Street View of your team’s virtual locale\, then cheer your fellow racers! \nEntry fees and donations go to CISCRP\, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public and patients and to engaging these critical stakeholders as partners in the clinical research process. \nWe rely on the honor system. You don’t have to use a device to prove your miles or minutes. \n\nNo all-day step counting\, please use intentional miles.\nPlease attribute your activity to the appropriate day — don’t combine mileage from multiple days.\nPlease only backdate activities up to two weeks past. No activity before 2/01 counts!\nExercise submitted after the race ends will not count toward race leaderboards.\n\n
